Who we are
Binary Systems Limited, a private company registered in Zambia (company no. 120261057351), of L40 Chilonga Close, Chelston, Lusaka, runs binarysystems.io, kula.binarysystems.io, lendall.binarysystems.io and eclear.binarysystems.io. We are responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@binarysystems.io.
This notice covers these four websites and the enquiries you send us through them, by email, by phone, on WhatsApp or on our LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram pages. It does not cover data entered in the KULA, LendAll or E-CLEAR apps.
What we collect
- Contact form on binarysystems.io: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message.
- KULA demo form on kula.binarysystems.io: your name, shop name, town, phone number, email address if you give it, number of tills, and your message.
- LendAll demo form on lendall.binarysystems.io: your name, business name, town, phone number, email address if you give it, and your message.
- E-CLEAR demo form on eclear.binarysystems.io: your organisation, your name, your role if you give it, your email address, your phone number if you give it, whether you are a lender or an audit or consulting firm, and your message.
- Email, phone, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram: whatever you choose to send us.
- Technical data: when you visit any of these websites, our server processes your IP address and basic request details so it can deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, for example by limiting how often a form can be sent from one address. Each form also sends how long its page was open. We use that to block spam and do not keep it.
None of these websites uses analytics or advertising or sets cookies. The KULA demo at kula.binarysystems.io/demo, the loan calculator on lendall.binarysystems.io and the ECL walkthrough at eclear.binarysystems.io/walkthrough run in your browser and send us nothing. Our links to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are plain links: nothing loads from those services unless you follow one.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to you, to arrange consultations and demos of KULA, LendAll and E-CLEAR, and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one. We process them because you asked us to, and so we can take the steps you request before any agreement.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run the websites and reply to you:
- Contabo, which provides the server these websites run on;
- Zoho, which provides our email; form submissions reach us as email through Zoho, whose email service for us is in the United States;
- WhatsApp, if you message us there;
- LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, if you message us there or interact with our pages. Their own privacy policies also apply to what you do on those services.
These providers store data outside Zambia.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless they become part of an agreement with us, in which case we keep them for as long as that agreement requires.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2021, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it.
Email info@binarysystems.io and we will reply within 24 hours and act on your request without undue delay. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Zambia.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
